About this Nominee
For over 35 years, The Tap Dancing Christmas Trees have brought high-energy tap dancing, dazzling costumes, and holiday joy to Alameda and the Bay Area. What began as a novelty recital finale has become a beloved seasonal tradition, with annual appearances at Alameda's tree lighting, Christmas Tree Lane, local parades, and community events. The Trees have also performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade six times since 2001 and appeared on The Today Show, spreading cheer wherever they dance.
