Our award-winning summer camps give young musicians the opportunity to explore instruments, build skills, and collaborate in a welcoming environment that nurtures both creativity and confidence.
Campers rotate through dynamic music stations including ukulele, piano, drums, guitar, songwriting, and ensemble performance. We also offer auditioned wind-ensembles for returning or students with prior experience. We blend structured ear-training and musicianship development with improvisation, play-based learning, and social-emotional growth. Students set goals, support one another, and experience the joy of performing together — whether they’re beginners picking up an instrument for the first time or returning musicians expanding their skills.
Our commitment to accessible, high-quality arts education extends beyond summer. OMA offers an on-site Afterschool Music Club that provides consistent weekly engagement during the school year on Wednesdays and Thursdays with pickup available. OMA also hosts Modern Band, Ukulele, and Guitar Classes through ARPD at locations across the island. Also be sure to check out OMA's school vacation camps throughout fall, winter, and spring breaks. These programs give families a trusted, creative home base year-round.
OMA's teaching artists are also available to offer private lessons with assigned reading, repertoire and technique exercises weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly as needed.
