Frank Bette Center For the Arts
About this Nominee
The Frank Bette Center for the Arts is the big yellow Victorian-era building at the corner of Paru and Lincoln in Alameda. We’re a community-oriented arts center offering classes, life drawing, rotating exhibits, and space for people to gather and create.
Our two signature annual events are Alameda on Camera, an all-photography shoot in February followed by a spring exhibition, and the Frank Bette Plein Air Paint Out, which brings 40 artists from across the U.S. to paint Alameda for a week.
